Good news, as travelling between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wanderlustmagazine.com\/destination\/lithuania\/\">Lithuania<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wanderlustmagazine.com\/destination\/latvia\/\">Latvia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wanderlustmagazine.com\/destination\/estonia\/\">Estonia<\/a> just got easier thanks to this new rail agreement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>LTG Link, Vivi and Elron have been working to coordinate their rail schedules to allow customers to travel between Vilnius and Tallinn in one day, which previously had not been possible.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You can now travel the route using one ticket, bookable through the LTG Link website, for just \u20ac39 (\u00a332) one-way. You will be able to ride the train from Vilnius to Riga, then onwards to Valga, where you will need to change to a train on the same platform to finish your journey to Tallinn.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Offered daily in both directions, you will leave Vilnius at 7.05am, arriving in Riga at 11.04am, before reaching Tallinn at 5.34pm. The reverse route leaves Tallinn at 10.25am, reaching Riga at 4.37pm, before ultimately arriving in Vilnius at 9.03pm.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After the completion of the Rail Baltica, an infrastructure project that will create a rail link between Tallinn, Riga, Kaunas, Vilnius and Warsaw, this journey will take less than four hours. That project is expected to be completed in 2030.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kristina Meid\u0117, head of LTG Link, said, \u201cEven before the European-gauge railway is built, together with partners from Latvia and Estonia, we have agreed to offer the most optimal solutions for train travel between the three Baltic states.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a first step, we have jointly coordinated the schedules of three routes so that it is possible to travel between Vilnius and Tallinn in one day. In the second stage, we offer passengers to travel with one transfer, conveniently purchasing one ticket at a more attractive price.
